What is Equity Drawdown?

Equity Drawdown is the temporary decline in account equity while trades are still open.

This is important because an account can look fine from the balance view, but the equity may have dropped deeply during open trades.

For EA trading, Equity Drawdown is often more important than Balance Drawdown because it shows the real pressure the account experienced before trades were closed.

A system can show profit in the end but still expose the account to dangerous floating loss along the way.
